Comments: Richard and the Funk Monster Band were simply amazing!  FMB played at my wedding, and I was so impressed with not only their sound (which was top notch), but their overall professionalism.  Richard James was incredibly responsive and so prepared.  He put together a script and timeline for our reception.  I had told him we would not need the FMB to play during the cocktail hour because our guests would not be in the tent.  I turned out to be completely wrong, and guests were all over the place.  FMB took the initiative and played beautiful jazz during the cocktail hour, without being asked.  That sort of service is tough to come by. 

Their music was absolutely perfect.  They had a sense of when slow songs were appropriate and what songs would get people to the dance floor.  EVERYONE was dancing, from my 80-year old grandmother to college friends to toddlers.  We had the best reception, and so much of that is due to FMB.  They were so good and everyone was having so much fun that we asked them to play longer than the 5 hours (which FMB was more than happy to do).  I would highly recommend them to anyone planning a special event!
